This low histamine sauce has been my go to for many mealtimes especially when I was feeling allergic and itchy. The key to efficiently following a low histamine diet is to make everything super fresh, full of nutritious Vegetables and Herbs. Blueberries have been shown to reduce markers of inflammation, prevent blood cholesterol from oxidizing and keep the cells lining your blood vessels healthy. They are great for a low histamine diet as they are a very powerful antioxidant, full of nutrients, vitamins and taste super sweet and crunchy.
Key with staying low-histamine is to eat it as fresh as possible so although this is delicious I do not recommend getting it back out for leftovers.
